My name is Aaron Andro Ching - a geodetic engineer by profession and a commissioned officer of the Philippine’s hydrographic office. I am the editor of various nautical publications, primary of which is the Philippine Coast Pilot. Due to my line of work, I became interested with maps and geospatial data. I am also very interested in history and the social sciences, which actually motivated me to take a course on Sociology on Deviant Behavior even though it will not be credited to my engineering academic records.
Expect this blog to be a fusion of cartography, history, and a dash of social realities.
